One could write a book on the life of an athlete and a coach. It may span from aspiring to be the greatest, to reaching the pinnacle of one's career and being faced with a list of unexpected adversaries along the way.

Add that to the weight of having aspects of your life monitored and critiqued by others. The expectations to perform an optimal level, with little regard to what you may be facing internally or with your personal life. The constant comparisons and for some, working hard and not feeling seen.
